Startup Syria partners with SYNC II to showcase Syria's emerging startups
Startup Syria has partnered with SYNC II, one of the leading technology and innovation gatherings, to support and co-organize the SYNC Syria Startup Competition 2025, a platform that spotlights the most promising new ventures emerging from across the country.
The collaboration brings together Startup Syria's network of founders, mentors, and ecosystem builders with SYNC's global community of investors, technologists, and industry leaders. Together, the two platforms aim to showcase Syria's growing entrepreneurial capacity and connect local innovators with international opportunities.
Highlighting Syrian Innovation on a Global Stage
The SYNC Syria Startup Competition 2025, held alongside the main SYNC II conference in Damascus, attracted applications from dozens of early-stage startups across key sectors, including health tech, education, renewable energy, agritech, and e-commerce.
The Top 10 startups were selected through a joint process managed by SYNC and Startup Syria and were given the opportunity to pitch their solutions before a panel of experts, investors, and international guests.
For many of these founders, this was their first time presenting their ideas on a national stage. The event also included dedicated mentoring sessions and networking opportunities, connecting participants to regional accelerators and potential investors.
